Install the browser extension

The extension is how work gets into Seylo without leaving the tab you are working in. Inside ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Manus, Kimi, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Le Chat, Qwen, and Poe, highlighting text makes a Save to Seylo button appear next to the selection.

1. 1Open Settings → Extension in Seylo and press Add to Chrome.
2. 2Install it, then pin it: the jigsaw piece in the toolbar, then the pin beside Seylo.
3. 3Open ChatGPT or Claude, highlight some text, and the Save to Seylo button appears.
4. 4Anywhere else on the web, highlight a selection and right-click → Save to Seylo.

There is nothing to log into. The extension uses the Seylo session already in your browser, so it works the moment you are signed in and stops working the moment you sign out.

On any page, ⌥⇧S (Alt+Shift+S on Windows) opens Seylo over it. Search every project, look into one, or write: the first row is a new note in the project you last wrote into, so a thought is Return, the words, and ⌘↵ (Ctrl+Enter on Windows). Typing a name no project has yet starts a new project with that note in it, and a note you open can be added to or edited in place.

⌥⇧4 (Alt+Shift+4 on Windows) saves a screenshot. The page dims: drag out an area, or press Return for the whole screen, and it goes into a project as a picture, named after the page. In the Seylo app, ⌘V (Ctrl+V on Windows) pastes a picture from the clipboard into the project you have open, so a screenshot taken to the clipboard (⌘⌃⇧4 on a Mac) goes straight in.

It asks for no access to the sites you visit. On the 12 AI tools it is loaded automatically because that is where saving is constant; everywhere else it appears only in the moment you choose it, from the right-click menu or the shortcut, in that one tab.

After changing anything in the extension folder, press the reload arrow on the Seylo card in chrome://extensions, then refresh the tab you are working in.
